How to enter your pull-up weight

Add your bodyweight to any belt or dumbbell load and enter the total. For example, a 180 lb lifter doing pull-ups with a 45 lb plate enters 225 lb. To find your added-weight max, subtract your bodyweight from the result.

What is a strong weighted pull-up?

A clean rep with an extra 50% of bodyweight added (total ≈ 1.5× bodyweight) is genuinely strong; total system loads of 1.75–1.9× bodyweight are advanced-to-elite. Use a strict set of 2–5 reps for the best estimate.
